Pets

As a rule, we like pets....it's the owners that sometimes cause a problem. For hotel guests with pets we ask for a £50 deposit which is refundable provided the bedroom is returned clean and undamaged and we reserve the right to charge for any significant damage that you or your animals cause. Dogs on a lead are welcome in the pub provided they stay on the floor (that means not on the seats) and behave. The only areas dogs are not welcome is upstairs in the pub (where the cat is normally asleep) or in the Conservatory. Please understand that while we are happy to extend our welcome to pets at The Sun, that does involve some risk on our part as we don't know your pet or how it behaves in company. We have a duty to keep the place orderly and for that reason will not hesitate to intervene if they start to cause a problem for other guests. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
